Two experts coming together

We are two outstanding experts who share a passion for ensuring that children’s and families’ needs are put at the top of the agenda in all areas. We both run our own successful businesses, working with a wide range of clients, and created Families First to share our expertise and achieve greater impact, as well as being able to give back to the communities we work with.

We work in partnership with organisations, groups and local authorities to enable positive outcomes for children and families in local communities.

Our specialisms include project and policy development (ranging from government to small voluntary organisations), programme delivery, community development, training, and service reviews. We have extensive experience of partnership working with and within a range of sectors, including health, education, special educational needs and disability, early years and childcare, family services, and play and community development.

Who benefits?

As a community interest company we are a commercial organisation who will reinvest in enabling additional activities and services for the community. Our beneficiaries will be UK groups and individuals working with or setting up work with children and families, who would not be able to afford the support otherwise.

Our focus

Our strapline is: Tackling inequality, transforming services, improving outcomes. This provides a useful summary of what you can expect from engaging Families First. We are experts in transformation in the children and families sector with many decades of experience between us. We know first-hand what works and how to achieve it.

Our Mission

Our mission is to work in partnership with a range of services all over the UK, to combat inequality and champion the best outcomes for children and families. Through the creation and delivery of collaborative projects, we strive to create sustainable, high-quality solutions that empower communities, nurture growth, and foster lasting change.
