Training and development for early years and out of school childcare providers
In response to demand we’ve been working with and for the fast developing wraparound sector to develop several courses (with more in the pipeline). We’ve worked with some fabulously experienced providers who have helped shape some brand new training to support the sector specific needs about inclusion and safeguarding. We are also successfully offering our Business Planning for Success course for both early years and wraparound providers (which has inclusion as a thread throughout).
We’ve listened to to the capacity concerns of the sector and developed a whole new online learning platform where providers can access the training in their own time, either on a pay as you go basis with ongoing peer network opportunities from us too, or alternatively a growing number of local authorities have also been bulk buying access for all their providers locally. If more than six staff from your setting or group want to pay for a training course, please contact us about buying a ‘bundle’ of courses. This means your group has a dedicated log in link, and we can offer a discount depending on how many courses you purchase.
The Families First Quality Improvement Commitment
The Families First Quality Improvement Commitment is a new, sector‑led programme designed to recognise and strengthen the quality of provision in the out of school sector – from breakfast clubs and afterschool clubs to holiday schemes, HAF providers, childminders and community groups. Our aim is simple: to create an accessible, supportive framework that helps settings showcase what they do well and continue to continually improve. Find out more here
